Whether God remembers man or not, man remembers God - and before you taunt us of spouting heavy-duty verbiage, we look around, okay! Just check out the festivity all around! And of course, can Dhola-Ri-Dhani be left behind in anything essentially North-Indian?
The Rajasthani ethnic village and resort is celebrating Dussera for a 2-day period. The first day will see some entertaining programs and competitions like "Best Dandia Couple", "Best Colorfully Dressed Couple", "Best Male Dancer", and "Best Female Dancer", apart from a special dandia by Parmars International Music Group.
The second day's highlight will be the Bonalu dance, starting at 6.00pm. This will be followed by the Ram Leela program at 8.00pm, Ravan Dahan (Ravan's effigy burning) at 8.30pm and a cracker show (fireworks) at 9.00pm.
There will also be a range of Rajasthani food for Rs. 70 and North-Indian food (chowki) for Rs. 100 on offer. Please contact 928-32086/772-1586/621-0549 for further details.
