M V Ramana Kumari and group take you on a song filled journey with their light and melodious music. Come, and be ready to get transported to a musical world. Acclaimed singer Kumari with her group in tow, will grace Kala Subbarao Kala Vedika to put on a melodious show of Light Music with songs in Telugu and a few old movie melodies. Kumari, a retired State Bank officer, is a popular singer with the All India Radio & Doordarshan, and has won many accolades.
Another event that is going to be a part of this night is the release of the book "Antharmadhana Vela" by poetess Sailaja Mitra. The chief guest of the event is Dr B N Reddy (ex MLA).
G V R Cultural Foundation's G Venkat Reddy (also one of the heads of the cultural society, Aaradhana) helps support upcoming artists and also gives away the Sahiti awards for literature.
