Just about when you had resigned yourself to Britney Spears being the supreme tribute to womanhood, here's proof that God always provides an alternative.
Thanks to a hobby-turned-addiction for fashion, and also to get a feel of the market, Puja Misra is holding her first exhibition at Gallerie Raphael. She's named this exhibition "Puja's Kriti - A Tribute To Womanhood". The exhibition will be on for 3 days.
As this is summer, her selection of clothes includes an ethnic range of cotton salwar suits, in both long and short kurtas. She is also displaying a variety of cloth material with exquisite embroidery and zardosi, as well as mukaish worked on them.
Along with the stitched suits there will also be suit pieces in cotton, georgettes and crepes with chikan work. There are saris too - with Bengal Tant and Kantha work. The price ranges from Rs. 750 for saris to Rs. 950 for the stitched suits.
Please contact Gallerie Raphael at 666-6208 for further details.
