If you needed more proof that womanhood is truly happening than that all the world's top terrorists refuse to be men, here's a whole exhibition.
The Tharuni Handicrafts Exhibition is a platform where women get opportunity to display and sell their products. The exhibition is being organized by the A P Women's Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited (APWCFCL) in its endeavor to provide marketing support to products produced by women's groups and women entrepreneurs, and also to improve standardization, packaging, branding, pricing and publicity through the Tharuni Resource Center that organizes melas.
The exhibition will have stalls selling terracotta, palm leaf items, Banjara works, leather items, Nirmal paintings, brass and silver articles, and other handicrafts and handlooms, all made by women. Such exhibitions are periodically organized by the department to help poor women artisans and also to create awareness among the local public that their exhibitions display quality products for reasonable prices.
