The seventh ruler of Qutb Shahi dynasty Abdullah Qutb Shah built the Baradari (an open pavilion with 12 doorways) atop a hillock near Golcondo Fort. Here, Taramati - a lady of extraordinary talent and beauty - sang for him.
Now, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has revived the spirit of Taramati Baradari by creating an exclusive complex for culture and entertainment around the heritage monument in harmony with the Indo-Persian architecture with the backdrop of the Baradari.
In celebration, a fiesta of fantastic cultural events will mark the arrival of this new venue. International stalwarts like Dr. Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Vidwan Vikku Vinayakran and Padmasree Hema Malini will show us just why they're the greatest in their respective fields.
