The French animation film festival begins with the first day of its animation delight. Modern Tales, one amongst the five themes chosen for this fest, features 4 films:
Haut Pays des Neiges, a film by Bernard Palacios, tells the story of a surveyor up in the mountains of Tibet. The music is by Joel Nauroy.
Malveillos, it est minuit poupee, is a film by Marc Boyan and Christian Pfohl. This is the story of the adventures and misadventures of a hero obsessed by time and clock-making.
Le Balayeur is a film by Serge Ellisalde. A road sweeper gets rid of everything that aggresses him, down a manhole. He takes a risk to get it all out again to help a little girl. The music is by Bruno Horace.
L'Homme aux Bras Ballants is a film by Laurent Gorgiard. The animation is by Jean-March Ogier and the music is by Yann Tiersen.
