It's been a while since Tom Alter has done a play. But our memories are not all that great. We do not remember. Not his plays, not him. Because Tom more or less has retired from movies and television. From being a regular at the box-office, then a regular at the idiot-box to a dormant box, Tom's journey has been quite hectic. But this play is not about him. It's about the Grand Old Man Of India - Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad.
This narrative play includes numerous entertaining anecdotes and memoirs characterizing the life of Maulana's personality, and his relationship with Gandhi Nehru, Jinah and Patel. It starts off with Maulana dictating notes to Kabir about his book, India Wins Freedom.
This is a solo act by alter, being directed by Dr. M . Sayed Aslam. The donor passes are priced at Rs. 1000, Rs. 5000, Rs. 250, and Rs. 100 respectively.
