You've heard stories of the ubiquitous young Krishna prancing on his toes. Now, get his darshan, through the guise of these teeming tots.
All you parents of little toddlers ... listen up. Tie up their hair, hand them their flute and make them look cute. This year's Krishnashtami Children's Fancy Dress Competetion organized by Himagiri Art Theatres is here.
The competetion is for children of age group 1 to 10. So it's but natural that you'll get to see the crawling baby Krishna as well as the more naughty grown up avtaar. There are three age groups in which children will compete which are 1-3 and 4-7 and 8-10.
The chief guest of the show will be none other than Dr C Narayana Reddy. The competetion will be judged by B S Rao and C H Narsimha Murthy.
Himagiri Art Theatres was started by Dr Reddy in 1997 and since then it conducts Musical Nites of Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Rafi and Ghantasaala every year to honour them. It also conducts the Fancy Dress Competetion every year.
