Sunita Shekhawat is organising an exhibition of jewellery on 11th and 12th July, 11am to 8pm, at the Pearl Banquet hall of Taj Krishna. The 2-day event will showcase an unique blend of traditional and contemporary jewellery.
The exhibition includes gold and platinum creations, uncut diamonds, Basra pearls, real emeralds, rubies, sherwani buttons, cufflinks and other accessories.
Midas Designer Jewellery's Sunita Shekhawat designs for royalty across the globe. She has designed the entire wedding trousseau collection of Aditi Pratap, daughter-in-law of Vilasrao Deshmukh (CM, Maharashtra), and that of Barkha Patel, who married Rahul Sharma, son of noted Santoor player Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Shekhawat has a keen eye, and looks into all aspects of design and manufacturing. After a piece of art is designed, she meticulously gets the ghat checked. Gemstones are scrutinised to ensure that they are of the best colour and quality. She also supervises the final stages before the product is deemed suitable for display.
