Chitramayee - State Gallery Of Fine Arts is presenting an exhibition of clay works by Revathi from 4th to 13th July. The theme for the exhibition is "Flower Scape", and it will mostly feature beautiful flowers and leaves made of clay. About 50-60 items are on display, and the exhibits are ideal for the interior decoration of hotels, lobbies and IT companies.
Revathi, who hails from Prakashnagar, has been in the art industry for about 15 years now. She is known for her oil paintings. She ventured into making clay models about 4-5 years ago. The speciality of her models is that she makes her own clay, and all the work is done single-handedly by her, without any outside assistance.
This is the first time that she is organizing an exhibition at Chitramayee, although she sold about 60-70 paintings through Lepakshi at Necklace Road a few years back.
