For Italian food lovers, the Italian food buffet every Friday at Encounters, the coffee shop and international food restaurant of Taj Krishna, promises a world of pizzas, spaghettis and rissotos. Encounters serves an Italian buffet every Friday to promote the exotic and varied food of the European country. And to make money, silly - the buffet costs Rs. 950 per person.

On the list are soups such as Leek And Potato Soup, Chicken And Broccoli Soup, Chicken Chowder Soup or Minestrone Milianaise Soup, salads such as Smoked Chicken Salad and Macaroni Cheese, and main course items including Spaghetti Meatballs And Chicken Picatta, Augratin, Peperoncino-Flavoured Chicken Breast With Calabrian Style Red Onion Marmalade, Potato Gnocchi With Roasted Peppers And Saffron Flavoured Seafood Sauce, Pugliese Lagane Pasta With Pan-Braised Zucchini And Aubergine-Balsamic Sauce, Terrine Of Grilled Aubergines, Tomatoes, Zucchini And Roasted Peppers With Mild Garlic Sauce, and the Asparagus Risotto.

Quiche, risotto, olive pate bread, bruschetta bread, pastas and pizzas form the rest of the menu. In desserts, Baked Alaska is much sought after. Tiramisu, Tart With Ricotta Liqueur, Candid Fruits and Chocolate Chips are the other desserts.
