Inter-School Volleyball Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR INTER-SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

The 2nd Rev P D Isaac Memorial Inter-School Volleyball Tournament for boys and girls is being organised at St. Pious Girls High School grounds, from 2nd to 4th August. 28 school teams in boys and 18 teams in girls are taking part in this annual tournament.

In the boys' category, R V M High School, St. Joseph (Mehdipatnam), Vignan Convent, Cal Public School, Govt. High School (Yousfaguda), Vikas (A & B teams), Atomic Energy Central School, St. Martin (A & B teams), Ekashila (A & B teams), Elizabeth High School, Sri Nagendra High School, Ramanthpur Public School, St. Joseph (Hyderguda), Jamia Osmania High School, Prathiba Vidyalaya, Gujarathi High School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School, DAE School, Aurobindo, St. Pious, Nalanda High School, Railway High School, DAV Safilguda, St. Joseph. (Kukatpally) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (Picket) are participating.

The participating teams in the girls' category are Rajasri Vidya Mandhir, St. Anthony's, Kendriya Vidyalaya (Begumpet), Nalanda High School, Vikas Concept School, St. Filomina, St. Francis, Atomic Energy Central School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School, Vijaya High School, DAV Safilguda, Govt. High School (Maredapally), Holy Family, St. Joseph, Mamatha High School, Rosary Convent and St. Pious.

The tournament will be played in the knockout format. The first round matches will be played on 2nd August, the 2nd round and the quarterfinals will be played on 3rd August, and the semifinals and finals will be played on 4th August. Shields, mementos and T-shirts will be given to the winners and the runners-up. Individual prizes like the best player of the match and the tournament, and the best service will also be given.
