It is said spice is the flavor of Ashadam, and cashing on this opportunity, Fortune Katriya is organing a Telugu Food Festival called Ashada Maasam, at its authentic Andhra speciality restaurant Kuchipudi, from 28th July. The restaurant has been specially decked up to create an atmosphere akin to the rural Andhra Pradesh dining experience.
Savor a lavish spread of pure Telugu cuisine, summed up in a buffet costing Rs. 375 for an adult and Rs. 150 for a child (taxes extra), and containing one veg and one non-veg snack, one veg and one non-veg soup, six veg and 3 non-veg curries/gravies, one veg and one non-veg biryani, four desserts and a choice of curd rice, plain rice and breads.
The menu changes every day, and you can choose from Keema Vada, Pesarattu, Garelu, Ulava Charu, Gutti Vankaya Kura, Gongura Mamsam, Korrameenu Pulusu, Chepala Pulusu, Bommidala Pulusu, Mamidikaya Pulusu, Mamsam Senagapappu Kura, Kodi Iguru, Pulihora and Kobbari Annam, with Avakaya, Gongura Pachchadi, Appadam and Kandi Podi. Finally, finish off with desserts like Pongali, Payasam, Kakinada Kaja, Bobbatlu, Pootareku, Kajjikayalu and Sunnundalu.
As you enter the restaurant, you will be received with a welcome Panakam (drink made with jaggery) or Majjiga (butter milk), and the buffet also comes with a complementary beer or mocktail. The festival is on till 6th August, only for dinner. Please contact 2332-5678/6613-5678 for further details.
