Vijayanagar College Of Commerce, together with the Osmania University Department Of Physical Education, is organising the Inter-College Wrestling Championship For Men, on 8th September, at the Osmania University Indoor Stadium. Eleven colleges are participating in this tournament, as below:
Nizam College
Aurora Degree & P G College, Chikkadpally
Badruka College of Commerce
St. Francis Xavier Degree College
S D Signodia College Of Arts & Commerce
Nrupatunga Degree & P G College
Hindi Mahavidyalaya
Anwar-Ul-Uloom College
A V College
Dr. B R Ambedkar College
Pragathi Mahavidyalaya
The weight categories for the competition are < 55 kgs, < 60 kgs, < 66 kgs, < 74 kgs, < 84 kgs, < 96 kgs, and 96 to 120 kgs. Each college can field only one player in each of the categories, and each wrestler will be allowed to compete in the next higher weight category if he wants to.
