What do China, Korea and Thailand mean to you? Whatever it is, wipe that out - they should mean low prices. Like in here.
The Hyderabad Trade Expositions (Hitex) is organising the Hyderabad Shopping Carnival 2006, to celebrate the festive season of Christmas, New Year and Pongal. About 80 stalls will be set up by both domestic and international sellers, displaying and wooing visitors with their merchandise.
This year, international participation from China, Korea, Pakistan and Thailand is the main highlight of the carnival, and with their low prices, they are sure to give their Indian counterparts a run for their money.
Shop here for a variety of garments, electronic and home appliances, handicrafts, mobile accessories, computers, furniture, gift items and jewelry. There is a separate children's enclosure with inflatable toys and other games. And for the hunger pangs, there are food courts serving fusion food and snacks, fresh and hot.
If traffic is a constraint, you can reach Hitech city by MMTS locals and take the free shuttle service provided by the organisers, upto the venue. The carnival is on at the Hitex exhibition grounds from 22nd to 25th December, and is open from 11:00am to 08:00pm. The entry ticket is Rs. 20 per head. Children below 5 years can enter free.
For further details, please contact the venue at 2311-2121, 2311-2122 or 2311-2123.
