Shankara Narayana got in the queue several times when God was giving out the grey stuff, and see what kind of a complex he gives the rest of the world! Here's one man you really don't want to be writing the same exams as.
A fancy for 'Avadhanam' (answering multiple questions at a time) was born in Shankara Narayana long ago, and he has been displaying his enormous memory power since then to varied audiences. The chief sub-editor of Andhra Prabha has other skills to his name, too - he has been regularly writing columns like Panchaiti, and is also a Vaasthu consultant - but this is what puts him on the map. On March 18, 2001, Shankara Narayana performed Avadhanam continuously for 12 hours, and the program shoot has been sent to the Guinness Book for consideration as a record.
Now you'd have heard about 'Astavadhanam', 'Satavadhanam' or even 'Sahasravadhanam'. But 'Hasyavadhanam' is something different from all the above. There is no script and no director. The questions are posed, and an instant humorous reply is received from the Hasyavadhani. Very difficult indeed, but Shankara Narayana has mastered this art.
Shankara Narayana has today invited 3 political parties - the BJP, the Congress and the TDP - to take part in a "Political Humor - Hasyavadhanam". The participants will be P Prabhakar, Rama Chandra Rao, Satyanarayana, Indrakumar Reddy, Dr Geetha Reddy, Pratibha Bharathi, Devender Goud, Chandrasekar, Pushpavalli, Nannapaneni Rajakumari and others.
Apart from the above dignitaries, film comedians and artists like Peketi Sivaram, Allu Ramalingaiah, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Nataraj Rama Krishna and Yellavenkateshwara Rao will take part in the program. All participants and the audience will pose questions, and Narayana will give humorous instant replies.
