REVIEW FOR HASTAKALA MELA AT SHILPARAMAM
Shilparamam is organizing a Hastakala Mela where artisans from different states will display their handlooms and handicrafts. Special stalls have been erected for the event.
The exhibition has been organized keeping in mind people coming to take part in the first Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) meet at HITEX from Sep 16 to 18. A good number of foreigners are expected to take part in that, and Shilparamam will showcase our country's heritage, and prominence of our handlooms & handicrafts, to the visitors.
There will also be the Bonalu festival for 3 days starting 18th September, and PATA visitors will be able to see and understand the Telangana tradition and culture. To help this, Shilparamam is planning to erect life-size models of the Golconda Fort and Mahankali temple to attract visitors.
