Deepshikha fights discrimination. Hires jokers to help raise funds.
The Deepshikha Mahila Sabha is organising a mela at the Imperial Gardens to raise funds for their school, Kanya Gurukul High School. At this school, free education is given to girls who cannot afford it. This organisation also runs an English medium school called Deep School, at Ameerpet. The children here are provided vocational training. This women's organisation has also helped the country and contributed its share during the Tsunami disaster.
The Deepshikha Mahila Sabha is conducting this mela for the noble cause of 'girl child's education'. This exhibition has many colourful events like magic-shows, mimicry, jokers and other feats. The mela also includes food stalls, chaat stalls, arts and crafts shops, clothes, books, and almost everything an urban exhibition will have. It will be inaugurated by the DCP of North Zone, Shikha Goel.
The exhibition also has many attractive gifts and prizes and a lucky draw. Please contact Veena Marda on 92465-23925 for further details.
