The 'Queen of Dandiya' and the hottest person of the dandiya world, Falguni Pathak, is coming to the city for Dassehra. The young and chirpy singer, considered a diva amongst today's young generation, is famous not just for her vocal talent but also for her stage presence and the entertainment that follows. One of the noted and respected singers of India today, she has a significant fan following even abroad.
With a long list of shows in India and abroad, Pathak has indeed come a long way since she started off as a dandiya singer, and currently the whole nation dances to her Gujarati-tinged tunes. She has released 8 albums, all of which have been hits in their own right. In the year 2000 she received the Indian Viewers' Choice award at the MTV Video Music Awards. A powerful and dedicated band 'Taa Thaiyaa' provides the required punch to make her shows a grand success.
