The cultural program by RAWA (Renaissance Artists and Writers Association) at the Ravindra Bharati will begin with an invocation dance. Thereafter, the eminent film director, actor and producer K Vishwanath will be felicitated.
Anand Shankar Jayant (DGM South Central Railway) will present a dance drama. Prabhat sangeet composed by P R Sircar will be sung by K Seshulatha Vishwanath. Other performers who will perform include Ghazal Samrat Vitthal Rao, Acharya Priya Shivanand Avdhoot and Satguru K Shivanand Moorthi.
The chief guest is Bhaskar Rao (Chairman of the State Women Rights Committee), and T V R K Prasad (DG & Special Chief Security of AP) will preside over the function.
RAWA, the cultural wing of Anand Marg, was founded by P R Sircar. Sircar has composed more than 5,000 songs in most of the Indian languages, based on classical raga, raginis and Western classical music.
