Gita Hariharan's first novel, The Thousand Faces of Night, won her the Commonwealth Writers Prize in 1993. Tonight, she will be reading some extracts from her latest book, In Times of Siege. The event is being jointly organized by the ITC Group with Penguin Books India and the city bookstore Akshara. The program will begin at 7pm with an introduction by Professor Alok Bhalla.
