The Aradhana social and cultural organisation is honoring the news readers of all the Telugu channels in India. The organization has been conducting such award programs for the past two years.
This year they have chosen to felicitate 6 news readers of various television channels. They are, Sranvanthi from Doordharshan, Sowjanya from ETV 2, K Rama Krishna from Teja TV, K R N Swami from MAA TV, K Anusha from TV 9, and G T Eshwar from Zee Telugu. This felicitation program will be preceeded by a dance performance by Sushma Mahanti. This Kuchipudi number will span about an hour.
The chief guest for today is M Gopala Krishna, the Chairman of the State Finance Corporation. The other guests include: retired General Manger of South Central Railways, Rama Krishna, and danseuse, Swathi Somnath.
