The Alankritha Art Gallery is housing "Controlled Freedom", a photography exhibition, from 7 to 21 January, from 11am to 7pm.
The show features photography by Lakshmi Prabhala and Sucharita Rao.
Lakshmi Prabhala is displaying 16 photographs. She is a self-taught photographer, and has been photographing for about 6 years. Prabhala is a street photographer, and her photographs are a relflection of life on the street.
Her photographs have been published in coffee table books, and magazines including Jetwings, Spicejet, and Discover India.
This is her 4th show. She, earlier, has presented her photography in galleries all over the world.
Sucharita Rao is displaying 12 portraits, at what is her 1st show. She recently graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Fine Arts University with a Photography degree.
Various online and print media outlets including Femina, JFW, Media Voice, and Channel 6, have published her work. At present, she is a freelance photographer.
