Viswa Sahithi is organising a 2-day conference for young writers & artists at Kala Subbarao Kala Vedika, on 18th & 19th Nov.
The event consists of conferences and competitions for poets, writers and artists. Prizes for the winners of the competitions will be given away on the final day of the event. Writers who wish to participate in this event must get registered on phone, or at the Viswa Sahithi office.
Viswa Sahithi is a 50-year-old cultural group established by Dr. Potukuchi Samba Siva Rao. Samba Siva Rao, himself a writer who has penned down nearly 100 books, established this group with the intent of encouraging new talent. He has organized World Telugu Conferences and other literary conferences in India and in the US. This 81-year old man has been into politics since the past 30 years, and was also a jounalist earlier.
