REVIEW FOR PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION BY DEBASHISH
The Chitramayee Art Gallery is hosting a photography exhibition by Debashish Ghosh Ray. The exhibition, titled 'Painted By Nature', will be open for all 6:30 pm onwards, on 19th Nov. It is on for 3 days, till 21st Nov, from 11am to 7pm.
The series, titled 'Painted By Nature', captures the artist's understanding of nature, through the lens. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. P Padmavati, Vice-chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University.
Debashish's images are passionate and sensitive, and have a dash of innovation. Ever since he started photography in 1983, he has wowed enthusiasts across the country, as well as abroad. He was honoured by the Federation Internationale de-la-Art Photographic, Belgium and as the Associate of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. He also served as a member of jury for several national and international salons held in India.
He has to his credit several prestigious awards from India, Hungary and Korea, as well as from the UNICEF and the Commonwealth. His award-winning photographs have been placed in the Album of National Federation of Hungary, and in the International Exchange of Photographs organized by Federation Internationale de-la-Art Photographic, Belgium. He has also directed short films and documentaries which were screened at several national and international film festivals.
