Under the guidance of the Department Of Archaeology And Museums, and with the help of the Department Of Tourism And Culture, General Raymond's Tomb, which collapsed in the year 2001, has been fully reconstructed. The tomb has been restored its glory, all with the reconstructed 28-pillar Greek style of pavilion architecture. And the commemorative function, on the completion of the renovation, will take place today at Moosa Ram Tekdi, Malakpet.
Alliance Francaise is holding the function with the help of Bilkiz Alladin of the Historical Society of Hyderabad. The evening will be dedicated to the reminiscence of the bygone era at the turn of the 18th century. There will be a performance by 20 students from different institutes, wearing costumes belonging to that period and enacting scenes from the Nizam's Court.
