CNR Musical Nite By Srikalanidhi: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR CNR MUSICAL NITE BY...

Srikalanidhi, in association with Raaga Madhuri and Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, is organising a musical nite called Sarileru Neekevvaru, on the occasion of the 76th birth anniversary of Gnanpeeth awardee and Padmabhushan Dr C Narayana Reddy (yes, that's CNR), on 28th July, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha.

Some hit numbers of Cinare (as Dr C Narayana Reddy is often referred) from evergreen movies like Guleba Kavali Katha, Atmabanduvu, Chaduvukunna Ammayilu, Pujaphalam, Bobbiliyuddam, Paramanandayya Shishyula Katha, Chikkadu Dorakadu, Lakshmi Kataaksham, Badipantulu, Pandanti Kapuram, Alluri Sitaramaraju and Shivaranjani, will be sung by Jaikumar (AIR artiste from Pune), Archana Venkateshwara Rao, Surya Kumari (senior AIR artiste), Raaga Madhuri Pulla Rao, Udayabindu and Amantha. The music orchestra is by Srikanth and party.

Five different personalities in their fields will be felicitated by Srikalanidhi, as below:

The chief guest for the evening is Dadasaheb Phalke awardee Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and the evening will be presided over by Dr C Narayana Reddy. P V Rajeshwara Rao, ex-minister and ex-MP, is the special guest.
