Everyone except the kids believes that kids should read in the holidays - even the government. Talk about democracy.
The Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, is organizing a children's book exhibition for a period of 10 days. The exhibition will feature hundreds of books on various subjects like art, culture, history, children's literature, agriculture, the flora and the fauna, land, people, and biographies of eminent personalities.
Children's books like Flat For Rent, A Crow's Tale, Birds And Animals In Indian Art, Stories Of Valor, Stipes In The Jungle, Tom And The Naughty Crow and other new releases will be displayed for sale. Apart from the Division, other governmental organizations like the National Book Trust, the Sahitya Akademi, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research books will also display their books. A 10 per cent discount is given on all books.
