Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad is presenting a chat hour with Simon Hagemann & Sven Haertig on the topic "Xenophobia In Germany?" on 7th September, at its office in Hermitage Complex, Hillfort Road, Basheerbagh. Hagemann & Haertig will talk about and answer various queries relating to the above topic.
In light of the recent aggression against Indian immigrants in Germany, the Goethe-Zentrum would like to provide a platform for discussions on related issues. Basic questions like do individual instances represent the mindset of a larger community, and how does one deal with escalating violence aimed at a particular community, will be discussed.
The speakers, both proficient in political sciences and currently trainees in Hyderabad, share an interest in intercultural relations and understanding. They will present their point of view on attitudes and behaviour towards immigrants in Germany.
