It's Kalasagaram's monthly date with Carnatic music tonite, and this time Jaishree
Kalasagaram, a cultural association based in Secunderabad, is organizing its monthly program of Carnatic vocal, by B Jaishree tonite.
Jaishree is a promising Carnatic vocalist from Salem, who received her initial coaching of music from S Vedavalli and Lalitha Ramaswamy. Later on, she received advanced training from P S Narayanaswamy and Late Calcutta Krishna Murthy, and is currently under Prof T R Subrahmanyam. She has given music performances in various cities of South India, and has been appreciated all over.
Kalasagaram is a South-Indian cultural association situated in East Nehru Nagar of East Marredpally, and has been organising Carnatic music concerts for more than 15 years. The concerts are always held in the Keyes High School campus in the open-air theater. The singers are generally from outside Hyderabad, usually amateurs and upcoming artists, and are quite competent. They also occasionally stage South-Indian classical dances and Tamil plays.
Jaishree will be accompanied by R Dinakar on the violin and P J Bhaskar on the mridangam tonite.
