Carnatic Vocal By Sai Sindusha & Madhuritha: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR CARNATIC VOCAL BY SAI...

Shilparamam is presenting a Carnatic vocal concert by P Sai Sindhusha and P Srilakshmi Madhuritha from Guntur, this Sunday evening. The recital is part of the weekly programs of classical music. With music support on the Casio by Nagaraju and on the mridangam by Balaji, Sindhusha and Madhuritha will start the recital with a Mahaganapathim in Nata ragam, followed by Oka Parikokapari, Thiru Thiru Javarala, Endariki Abhayambu, Sharanu Sharanu, Madhava Keshava and a couple of Annamacharya Keertanas.

Sai Sindhusha is a 13-year-old, 9th class student of Sri Venkateshwara Bala Kuteer, Guntur, and Madhuritha is a 6-year-old 2nd class student of the same school. Both are disciples of Nanda Kumar in classical vocal, while Sindhusha is also learning light music from Nagarjuna Kalashala, since 18 months.

They have performed at various cultural venues, schools and temples in Guntur, and are performing at Hyderabad for the first time. Sindhusha has won 7 prizes at school-level competitions and at the Rotary Club in Guntur, while Madhuritha has won prizes at the school level.
