BSIT Inter-Engineering College Knock-Out Cricket Tournament

If you thought the T20 format was a blink-and-you-miss-it blitz, here's a format that's even shorter - the 15 over format, so keep your eyes wide open to not miss it. BSIT is celebrating its 6th Inter-Engineering College Cricket Tournament organised by Sports Coaching Foundation, at Chevella, from 17th August to 27th August.



48 Engineering colleges from Hyderabad, RR District, Medak & Mahbubnagar, are taking part in the tournament. The Chairman of BSIT, Bandaru Srinivas Rao, opened the draws of this event at Kasani GM Hotel, on 15th August.



The teams that are participating in the mega-championship are all engineering colleges - Avanthi Engineering College, CMRIT, CVR Engineering College, Arjun Engineering College, SSIT, JBREC, Turbo Machinery Institute Of Science & Technology, Mahaveer Institute Of Technology, Geethanjali Engineering College, Asifa Engineering College, Al-Habeeb Engineering College, Avanthi Engineering College, Ellanki Engineering College, VIF College Of Engineering, Aurora (Astra) Institute, Shaaze College Of Engineering, St. Martin's Engg College, MRITS, Mannan Engineering College, Nizam Engineering College, Gurunanak Engineering College, Gokaraju Rangaraju Engineering College, Global College Of Engineering, Thirumala Engineering College, TKR Engineering College, CMEC, Hitam Engineering College, Maheshwara Institute Of Technology, Birla Institute Of Technology & Science, CMRCET, Amina College, Nexus Engineering College, CRV Engineering College, JNIT, Narsimha Reddy Engineering College, JBIT Engineering College, Brilliant Engineering College, Vasavi, St. Mary's College Of Engineering & Technology, VBIT, VJIT, MREC, BSIT I, BSIT II, SV College Of Engineering & Technology, Indur Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Nova College Of Engineering & Technology, and Chilkur Balaji Institute Of Technology.



The knock-out tournament will consist of matches with 15 overs from each side. There will be 4 groups of teams. All participants will get a certificate, and outstanding players will be felicitated. Mr. Dana Kishore (IAS, Collector, RR District) is inaugurating the tournament on 17th August, at 9am, at BSIT Sports Complex (Chevella, RR District).
