Shrishti Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of landscape paintings by Anand Bekwad, from 10th August. The paintings are on display from 11am to 7pm everyday.
The theme of the paintings is landscapes, Anand Bekwad has captured the beauty of landscapes on his canvas, using vibrant colors. The paintings will be inaugurated on the 10th August, at 6:30pm and will be on display till 27th August.
Anand was born in 1975, in Belgaum, in Karnataka. He has a Diploma in Drawing & Painting (AMGD) in Belgaum. He has many awards to his credit, including the 36th Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy Award, the Mysore Dasara Award, the Annual Exhibition Award for Still Life, and an award for Portrait and Landscape from Uma Fine Art Institute in Belgaum.
Anand Bekwad's works have been displayed at many places, including at the 64th All India Exhibition Hyderabad in 2005, Nehru Centre Discovery of India in 2008 (Mumbai), Chitramayee State Gallery in 2007, and Vinnyasa Premier Art Gallery (Chennai) in 2005.
