You know you are cut out to be a writer when a saint himself tells you to be one. Mohan Rao has had more fortune than that. He's gotten peace into his life, too.
The Siva Sakthi Cultural Association was established in the 1980s by Somadayanand, currently working as an AEO in the public sector, and a singer. The Association organizes cultural programs regularky, and in today's program, C S Madhu Mohan Rao will release his new book called "Sai Gnana Deepika".
Mohan Rao was an ordinary man until he turned a writer a couple of years back. And he had good reason, too. Plagued by domestic problems, he swore that he would become an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba if any of his problems were solved. The miracle happened, and one night Sai Baba appeared in his dream and advised him to write something beneficial for society. And so Rao started penning books on Sai Baba.
He has written 4 books so far, and they are Sai Deepika, Samaja Jignasa, Sahasra Namavali and, now, Sai Gnana Deepika. His books talk about devotion, social service, Sai Baba's life history and his miracles, and performing puja through service.
His 4th book will be released today, and speaks of Sai Baba's splendor. It has 42 chapters in it with short stories and definitions, and is aimed at the common man.
