Rajeshwari takes a dig at the Greenpeace and the Green Corps, and attempts to do what they do best. Secunderabad Club is presenting a Bharatanatyam Ballet of Rajeshwari Sainath and her troupe of disciples at their premises on 27th August at 7:30 PM.
On this night, Rajeshwari Sainath would be performing the influence of nature on season cycles with nine of her disciples.
She would initially be performing the Ganesha Sthuti, as per the tradition, followed by a ballet on Nature and the Season Cycle, with no lyrics and only music.
There will be an orchestra comprising of ten musicians for this theme. She says, music is a universal language, and to make people understand her dance, she's decided to exclude lyrics.
In this ballet, she would try to convey the message that felling of trees, destruction of nature is like altering the cycle of seasons, which would have drastic effect on mankind.
To conclude on a happy note, she and her troupe of dancers would show real beauty of nature with the burst of spring, colourful flowers blossoming, the greenery and so on.
Rajeswari Sainath is a Bharatnatyam dancer of international repute, from the Pandanallur school. What she is known for is her brilliant choreography, that has been commented on by many a maestro of Bharatnatyam.
Look out especially for the Layas, in which Rajeswari has received training from her maternal uncle, the reknowned mridangam vidwan Dr. Karaikudi Mani.
