Shilparamam is presenting a Bharatanatyam recital by Vandana and Bhuvana this Sunday, as part of the weekly program of classical dance. The duo will start with a Ganapathi Koutvam, followed by Alaripu, Jatiswaram, Natanamadina, Ravamma Maa Intiki, Neela Megha Shareera (Tarangam), Annamacharya's Muddugare Yashoda, and finally a Tillana.
The orchestra support will provided by Visalakshi and Uma Radha for the nattuvangam and vocals respectively, and by Varanasi Bhanuprasad on the mridangam, Pavan Kumar on the violin and Venkatesh on the flute.
Vandana and Bhavana are sisters, studying in 8th and 5th class respectively at P Obul Reddy Public High School. They have been learning Bharatanatyam from Visalakshi since the age of 4, and had their arangetram at Ravindra Bharathi during May last year.
