Ramanaiah is a farmer who loves agriculture and wants his son Madhav to follow in his footsteps. But Madhav is attracted to the city life and leaves his parents to lead a comfortable life with his wife and 10 year old son Gagan.
One day, Madhav goes to the village with his son to procure some money. His parents receive him with utmost affection. Having secured the money, he returns to the city immediately. His parents feel sad, but the presence of Gagan consoles them. Gagan is delighted to be in the village, and gradually, he develops an interest in agriculture. Later, Madhav too accepts agriculture as a way of life. An overjoyed Ramanaiah showers his blessings on his son and grandson.
