Kalasagaram is presenting an Annual Youth Festival Of Music, from 12th to 14th February, at Keyes Girls High School. The 3-day annual music festival will feature the following 3 concerts by young and upcoming Carnatic music artistes:
12th February
6:30pm - GNB Memorial Concert by D L Prachotan
13th February
6:30pm - D K Pattammal Memorial Concert by Lavanya Sundararaman
14th February
6:30pm - Kalyani Balakrishna Memorial Concert by Sandeep Narayan
Kalasagaram is a south-Indian cultural association situated in East Nehru Nagar of East Marredpally, and has been organising Carnatic music concerts for more than 35 years now. The concerts are usually held in the Keyes High School campus in the open-air theatre. The singers are generally from outside Hyderabad - amateurs and upcoming artistes are also encouraged. Kalasagaram also occasionally stages south-Indian classical dances and Tamil plays.
