Sri Ahobila Math is organizing the 600th jayanti celebrations of saint Annamacharya on 19th May. On this occasion, there is a concert involving 40 to 50 disciples of Sangeetha Ratna Tirumala Penugonda Chakrapani and Gana Vidushi R Anasuya Murthy, accompanied by Sundaracharya on the mridangam.
Chakrapani is a renown artiste who was felicitated with the title Sangeetha Ratna at a relatively young age, and Anasuya Murthy is a Carnatic vocalist of growing popularity, who is learning Annamacharya kritis from Chakrapani.
