Alter Egos Live At Escape: Events in Hyderabad

It costs Rs. 400 to get in. Everything else is good news.

Escape, the pub at Green Park, is organising a weekend rock show by the band Alter Egos, on 19th January. The band is performing at the pub for the 5th time, and consists of a group of six talented musicians.

Vijay started playing the tabla as early as when he was 3 years old, and transformed over a period of time to a lead guitarist. Loki, a musician who is extremely talented, plays the keyboard. Anand is a singer with powerful vocals.

Soumya is an accomplished singer from a family of trained singers, and quite authentic in delivery and modulations. Badri is a drummer who too started at a very young age and has numerous recognitions to his credit. And finally, Baba, plays the bass guitar.

The band will play classical and progressive rock. They have composed music for an English song for the Telugu film Johnny, and a song called Dil Pe Math Lo for the movie Hyderabad Blues 2, which has been featured on MTV.

The cover charges are Rs. 500 for couple and Rs. 400 for single entry, which are redeemable on food and drinks. So rejoice and spend an evening of pumping rock with your friends. And yes, there are lots of prizes to be won.
