Get a taste of Haroun's conflicting Africa, with the tale of two brothers Tahir (15) and Amine (8) who wake up one Saturday morning to find their father missing. Dad's gone in spite of his promise to referee their football match that day. Their quest to find him, lands them in trouble... tonnes of it! Their only respite from all their suffering comes from a deaf-mute girl that befriends them.
Though the movie is mostly in a tragic tone, it shows that every cloud has a silver lining. All the characters, personalities and their emotions are beautifuly portrayed by director/writer Mahamat-Saleh Haroun.
Released in 2002, this 81-minute movie bagged 7 international awards, and was nominated for another.
