The All India Senior Tennis Association is organsing the 15th GVK-Aista Senior National Ranking Tennis Championships from 7th to 12th December at the SAAP Tennis Complex, Lal Bahadur Stadium.
60 senior players - 20 each in the 45 years and above, 55 years and above, and 65 years and above age groups - from different states such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Kerala will be participating in this tournament. In the 45 years and above age category, R Sudershan Rao from Andhra Pradesh is the top seed, while S Sethu from Tamil Nadu and S Parekh from Maharashtra are the top seeds in the 55 years and above, and 65 years and above age categories respectively.
The total prize money in this tournament is Rs. 10 lakh. All the matches will be played on synthetic surface.
