Hyderabadi sculptor Y Shivarama Chary is exhibiting his latest edition of sculpture at the Kalakriti Art Gallery, from 11th to 28th October.
Shivaramachary learnt traditional sculpture from his father Y Jagadeeshwara Chary. He completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts (sculpture) from Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, in 2002, and his Masters in Fine Arts (sculpture) from Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts, University of Hyderabad, in 2004.
He has exhibited his works at the Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad and at Open Palm Court Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. His group exhibitions include Hyderabad Hues at the Ashvita Art Gallery, Chennai; Art Expo India, Nehru Centre, Worli Mumbai; at the Studio Nepean, Mumbai; Dakshinayan, an exhibition of Andhra Pradesh Artists, at Gallerie Nvya, New Delhi; Deccani Parlance, an exhibition of drawings by AP Artists at the Kaleidoscope Art Gallery, Vadodara; Tryst With Telangana, a group show in Sarjan Art Gallery, Vadodara.
