Alliance Francaise Hyderabad, in association with Goethe-Zentrum, is conducting a photo exhibition titled "Festivals In India" from 5th to 14th December.
Young or old, amateur or experienced photographers were invited to send their photographs on the theme "Festivals In Hyderabad", and each participant was allowed to submit a maximum of 5 photographs. A first selection of 10 photographers was done on 27th November by a jury constituted of high-profile photographers, and these selected framed photographs is being exhibited from 5th to 14th December at the Alliance Francaise.
Out of the 10 selected photographers, 3 final winners will be selected on 15th December at the Christmas party at Goethe Zentrum. The winners will be awarded the following prizes:
1st prize: Camera coupon worth Rs. 10,000 and a free French/German course at either Alliance Francaise/Goethe Zentrum.
2nd prize: Opportunity to visit a photo session of one of the jury members, and a book on photography.
3rd prize: A book by a French photographer, a free Ami membership at Alliance Francaise and Goethe-Zentrum, as well as free access to their resource centres for a year.
