Aaradhana's birthday bash with a blend of Maayasabha and Kuchipudi Nrithya!. The active cultural organisation, Aaradhana strives for the advancement of the blossoming artists and also to acknowledge the talent of the senior ones. In continuance of this history, it begins the evening with a one-act play of Duryodhana's role at Maayasabha in Mahabharata, by Rama Rao Pinisetti, and a Kuchipudi Dance recital by Baby Ch Krishnasri of Eluru.
Next to follow is the trademark felicitations of eminent critics. Following are the recepients:-
U Subbaraya Sarma sponsored, U D Prasad Memorial Cash Award of Rs. 1,116 will be conferred on Veeraji, Senior Stage Artist and Writer.
Tunga Shiva Prabhat Reddy of Nellore sponsored, Tunga Rajagopal Reddy Memorial Cash Award of Rs. 1,116 to Kandimalla Sambasiva Rao, Renowned Play Writer, of Chilakaluripeta.
Javvadi Cultural Trust of Nidadavolu sponsored, Javvadi Theatre Cash Award of Rs. 1,116 to S Ramachandrachary, Senior Journalist of Vaartha.
Javvadi Anuradha Murthy and Javvadi Prithviraj sponsored award to Chikkala Balaji Rao - Theatre, Akashvani and TV Artist from Nandaluru in Kadapa District.
Aaaradhana-Sangeeta Sanman Award to C Krishna Kumari, a prominent cine and classical singer.
The guests for the evening are, K Rosaiah (Assembly Affairs and Health Minister, Government of AP), C Ramakrishna (Ex General Manager of South Central Railway), N Sambaiah (President, Pragathi Kalamandali, Guntur), Kala Venkata Dikshitulu (President, Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha), A Nataraj (President, Vivekananda Social Service Organisation, Mahabubnagar), Shivaparvathi (Actress). The event will be presided by Lanka Lakshmi Narayana (Theatre, Radio and TV Artist)
