The students of the Sanathana Yoga Prachara Samithi are celebrating the 52nd birthday of their teacher, Maharshi Sri Rama Yogi. On this occasion, Sri Rama Yogi will speak about the importance of yoga in daily life, and this will be followed by a demonstration by the pupils of this institute.
Sri Rama Yogi, a yoga expert, established this yoga-training institute in the year 1992. He is famous for teaching 'Pranik Yogasanas', 'Holistic Personality Development' and 'Dyana Yoga Sadhanas' in India and abroad too. Pranik yogasanas are considered to be the best and can cure chronic ailments. Sri Rama Yogi has been training people in these fields for almost two decades.
The institute feels that the practice of meditation is quite important for today's students and elders. "Meditation is a vital process that shifts the mind from a wavering state to one of tranquility where it is calm, quite and peaceful," says Murali Krishna, a senior instructor. "Such a mind not only disposes of hazardous thoughts, it also engenders innovative and positive thinking."
