Mamata Agarwal is conducting a special clay-modeling workshop for children above 2 years, on 26th & 27th May, at Saptaparni. The camp is about the process of preparing clay models, and students will be taught making vessels, toys and pots. They will learn pottery on the potters' wheel, and also making pots without it. Finally, they learn to get their models usable by putting them under fire and give the finishing touches. The best models developed will be displayed at the end of the camp. There are also competitions, and awards will be given.
The camp provides top quality clay and also the latest types of instruments to work on, and expects similar results from the students. The fee for this camp is Rs. 600, and the timings are 10:30am to 11:30am.
