Mahnoor and Tripura tell you how to dance your way to self-revival.
The Diara Centre For Art And Culture, in association with the Rainbow Inc., is organising a workshop on self-discovery through dance and drama.
This workshop is being conducted to encourage individuals to experience the their inner worlds by participating in group activities and games through dance and drama. It will stimulate them to think, speak, express and communicate their ideas, attitudes, beliefs, and emotions through body movements and voice. The workshop will enable its participants to develop a fresh understanding of their multi-faceted personalities.
The creative platform provided by the workshop will assist the students in developing a deeper sensitivity towards themselves and others. It will also help them in overcoming inhibitions, enhancing self-esteem, and learning to express themselves more effectively. Techniques from dance and drama are used here to help unite the physical, mental and emotional energies, and to create a wholesome personality.
