Nobody could complain that downtown Hyderabad is anything short of urban - especially after the IAF jams (sheesh, what they'll be called now!) - and some savvy minds have sensed in that an opportunity to make money by going rural. And they're taking the fight right to the city's solar plexus - targeting the disgruntlement that nearly every resident has about both excesses and shortages in all the wrong places - when they call it "the rural showdown".
Digiquest India Limited is organizing a 10-day festival of rural sports, shopping and entertainment by a creative group from Tollywood. These games and sports include gilli danda, kabaddi, kho-kho, rangoli, boogie woogie, archery, tokkudu billa, utti, clay modeling and rural beauty contests, among others.
Furniture, automobiles, cosmetics, consumer electronics, durables etc. will be for sale at the exhibition, and under entertainment, there will be musical programs - with folk, classical and cinematic themes.
Please contact Digiquest India Limited at 663-7178/98480-40348/98490-23363 for further details.
