REVIEW FOR 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF SRI BHAKTA RAMADASU MUSIC COLLEGE
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, Sri Bhakta Ramadasu Govt College Of Music And Dance is organising music and dance programs on 26th April, at West Marredpally. The chief guests are Padmasri Dr. Shobha Naidu, Kuchipudi exponent; K M Radha Krishna, cine music director; and Raveendra, Joint Commissioner, GHMC.
The anniversary programs are as follows:
Carnatic vocal by 1st years - disciples of J Sharada Carnatic violin by 1st years - disciples of T Sharada Chalam Sitar by 1 years - disciples of Pandurang Mutalik Veena by 1st and 2nd years - disciples of P Jayalakshmi Tabla by 1st years - disciples of H B Chavan Hindustani vocal by 1st and 2nd years - disciples of Sri V Daya Sagar Carnatic vocal by 2nd years - disciples of B Haripriya Carnatic violin by 2nd and 3rd years - disciples of Peri Srirama Murthy Mridangam Layavinayasam by 3rd and 4th years disciples of P R C Sharma Kuchipudi by 6th year students and disciples of Mahankali Mohan, accompanied by Mahankali Mohan with nattuvangam, Srivalli Sharma with vocal support, P R C Sarma with the mridangam, K Anil Kumar with the violin, Murali on the flute and Adarsh with the make-up
The programs will begin at 4pm and end by 7pm. The sabha karyakramalu will begin at 7pm, and will be followed by the prize distribution. There is a special sitar program by Nand Kumar & party at 8pm.
